OSM Inspector

OSM Inspector was created as a more or less general tool to show different views of OSM data in order to help advanced OSM users debug the data. It is meant to be used by users who understand the OSM data in some detail.

OSM Inspector shows different views for different subjects. Some views have data for the whole world, some only for Europe or other smaller areas. Areas where no data is available will be shown with a hatching pattern.

Changes in the OSM database typically need about a day or two to show up. You can see the date and time of when the data was current in the bottom left. Always check the raw data before you do anything drastic, somebody else might have changed something since!

See the OSM Inspector page on the OSM Wiki for more information.
